At the beginning of 2020, I decided to draw something every single day for a whole year. I drew from a book of prompts that a friend gave me. Pictured below are a few of my favourites from the year. All of the drawings can be found at @drawit366 on Instagram.
Matterhorn… one of the world’s most beautiful sights in my opinion.
I was going for a British Queen's Guard with this one.
I drew this from a photo that I thought encapsulated the prompt pretty well.
Something is about to happen... 🥖🥖🥖🥖🥖 🐟🐟
At a ripe old age, I'll be crushing my grandkids at chess.
Ay, eye, I!
Throwing it back a little bit with this one. Does anyone recognize this mouse?
The idea for what to draw for this prompt came to me as I was falling asleep last night. The ghost break dancer. I like how it turned out. They are party pants because they have stripes and they are being danced in.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, here it is. The fifth and final truck. Allegedly the nicest truck I've ever drawn.
“Introducing first.... from the red corner, weighing 42 grams. He hails from the PetSmart in Brampton Ontario. He’s so tough he washes himself with sand instead of water. He’s been known to shed his tail in a fight if he gets desperate. He’s small, but quick. He’s a gerbil, but he’s ferocious. Give it up for the LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, MIIIIISTERRRRR WHIIIIIIISKERRRRRS!!!”⠀
I don't know if this is qualifies as "missing in my life" but I'd love to have a smart watch. A Garmin Vivoactive 4 would do nicely.
It's the Joker, but he has a cute little dog named Rex, and he loves him and takes good care of him. It's very conflicting.
